Angular contact bearing with counter bore on inner rings: Angular contact ball bearings with counter bore on inner rings can carry axial loads acting in one direction only. Under the radial loads the force acting in the axial direction needs to be countered. It is usually adjusted against the second bearing. These bearings have one high and one low shoulder on each ring allowing more number of balls to be incorporated. There are two standard versions of single row angular contact ball bearings used for different purposes. Only one bearing is used at a given bearing position. Two or more bearings are positions at the given bearing position. They may be mounted adjacent, back to back or face to face position.
